What is Spotlights Company?

Spotlights Company provides a friendly growth environment for kids to perform and learn basic music skills that inspire confidence. We make friends and share in each others success and together find joy through music & steps. With classes held once a week and 2-3 performances at the end of each Spotlights season, your kids will develop talents and skills that will empower them and last a lifetime.

At Spotlights we know that when kids feel confident and supported, they make positive choices, build meaningful connections, and grow into kind, capable, and empowered people who make a difference. We believe in the power of the performing arts to build character, discipline, and joy. Our mission is to uplift each performer, encouraging them to shine both on and off the stage with passion, dedication, and a heart for others. At Spotlights, every voice matters, every movement tells a story, and every performer belongs. Music and steps are simply the tools we use to help each performer shine in their own way.

About Myself..

I am a upbeat somewhat silly mom of 4 who loves the power music can hold. The opportunities it has given to me both with the music world and out of it are innumerable. Confidence is key and in my experience music is what gave that to me. I love kids, board games, dancing and making fun memories!

I have hundreds of hours of real world experience teaching kids of all ages. I have taught music theory, vocal techniques, and movement in both a small and large group setting.

I have performed in many musicals both professionally and for fun! Some of which include Joseph and the technicolor dream coat - Levi’s Wife, The Wedding Singer -Julia, West Side Story -Anita, Bye, Bye Birdie -Alice, HONK -Penny, Aida, Pirates of Penzance, Once On This Island and many more! I also have lead, blocked, and choreographed, dozens of shows and review numbers.

5 years experience of collegiate or professional vocal training. I also have sung in many choirs and groups since I was 6 and continue to sing every day to my children!
